A short and smelly healer born in the mud, the Greenskin Shaman in Mythic Entertainment’s Warhammer Online doesn’t shy away from the dirty jobs. Tagging along behind a Destruction warband certainly qualifies as dirty! The Greenskin gods Gork and Mork supply the Shaman with power, while the Mastery Paths help to focus and expand on their abilities.

You can find the 3D Previews in two locations:

• On the search results page under each item that has one available, you will see a “3D Preview” link. Clicking on this link will pop up a window in the middle of your browser. A couple seconds later you will see the item model rendered in 3D.
• On the item details page will be a “3D Preview” button within the “Summary” box to the right of the page. Clicking this button will pop up a window in the middle of your browser. A couple seconds later you will see the item model rendered in 3D.

As Curse Team announced, it was just phase 1 for their Warhammer Online work, they also plan to expand the preview window beyond just “held” items. • We have updated the Annihilator and Conqueror armor sets (acquired through a variety of high level RvR) to include Wards, in order to maintain parity with PvE Armor Sets.

   

• The Annihilator set now includes the same Ward as that offered by the Bastion Stair’s Bloodlord set.

   

• The Conqueror set now includes the same Ward as that offered by the City Dungeon Sentinel set.

   

• Players who equip pieces from the Annihilator and Conqueror armor sets will be better-equipped to challenge the Fortress Lords and contested city guards. The more pieces equipped, the better defended players will be against these deadly adversaries.

Not panicking is first and foremost, the supreme PvP rule – if there was a PvP version of the Ten Commandments, this would be the first thing etched in stone. When you lose your cool, strategy breaks down along with ability, coherence, and communication. Such a catastrophic failure has only one end – your smoldering husk littering the battlefield (possibly in several large chunks.) Luckily, there are two key factors to avoid getting your dignity stomped upon – realization and experience. Realization is easy; just remember you’re playing a game. When your guy dies, gets taunted, or even gets drunk, all these actions have no effect on you, the player. Often, dying numerous times combined with taunting can lead to a frivolous waste of your character’s life and a seat in the front row of watching a spawn timer. So above all, staying cool by realizing it’s just a game will drastically help your team succeed. As for experience, this can only be gained with… experience. No matter how many times one can read a guide to this or that, or even have someone explain the objective to you, there is just no substitute for good old fashioned experience. That being said, the best way to learn the mission objectives, along with the snipe spots, best healing range, and shortcuts, will come with time. It’s great to read up on something, don’t frown upon knowledge, just remember that practice makes perfect.

Once upon a time, a great man made an excellent quote. He even wrote into a book, and in fact the message was embossed on the front cover. The man was Douglas Adams, not the famous politician, but the science fiction writer, and his famous words were simple – “Don’t Panic.” Taking this notice to heart, it can provide the most basic of rules for surviving your first foray into Warhammer Online’s robust PvP scenarios.

• We have added a ‘Join All’ button to the scenario window which now allows players to join all scenario queues in their current tier at once.
• In order to promote realm and population balance, some realms on some servers will now award their players with a +20% bonus to renown and experience. This is not a permanent bonus, but rather a temporary incentive to promote balance. Realms currently offering this bonus are marked on the server list with a colored icon; blue for Order and Red for Destruction – Check the Herald for the latest list!
• In response to player feedback, we have made several improvements to the behavior and responsiveness of the siege weapon interface. In addition we have fixed some issues with the control and release processes of siege weapons.
• While in scenarios, players will no longer be able to select “Need” in their loot windows unless their career or race can use the item being offered. Outside of scenarios, this feature is an optional setting that may be turned on manually by group leaders. Please note: players of a lower level than required by the item are still able to roll.
• In an ongoing effort to deter players from going AFK while in scenario starting areas, we have made the following changes: Firstly, players who join a scenario and remain in their realm’s spawn area for two minutes will be automatically removed from that scenario. Secondly, upon entering the spawn area of a scenario, players will receive a debuff that prevents them from earning renown and experience. This debuff will be removed when the player leaves the spawn area.
